OVERALL PURPOSE

Responsible for the management of Fleet Services through monitoring and establishing procedures to ensure implementation across NWC in alignment to GS&FM leadership direction

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Sets the fleet management department’s goals and objectives and ensures the cascading of such to the direct reports’ individual goals and objectives.
  • Plans for the resources to present effective organizational participation to ensure work environment that is aligned with international standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Provides day-to-day management and supervision to section heads and direct reports and supports them in achieving their operational objectives.
  • Supports in monitoring KPIs relevant to the area to control the performance against objectives and targets.
  • Sets performance objectives and manages performance of the direct reports and oversees performance management of overall general services teams
  • Manages the Fleet Service team in all aspects related to leadership, administration, staff, budget and contracts, in coordination with the relevant GS teams
  • Provides necessary guidance and approvals requested by Fleet Services teams to resolve critical issues and escalates any unresolved issues to the General Services & Fleet Services director
  • Manages and oversees weekly reports to ensure SLA compliance through working with the relevant GS teams
  • Periodically reviews operating procedure, to identify areas for improvement and provides recommendation to enhance the services offered to employees
  • Ensures the policies and procedures are created, implemented and aligned to the corporate policies
  • Prioritizes and supports GS&FM leadership in allocating budgets and resources to the function
  • Coordinates with direct reports on the performance of their delegated responsibilities.
  • Actively manages talent programs in own department to maximize employee performance and development.
  • Oversees and manages the creation of RFPs and analysis of vendors’ proposals against NWC requirements across Fleet Services in coordination with relevant NWC functions
  • Plans for the resources to present effective organizational participation to ensure work environment that is at par with international standards and customer satisfaction.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Manages and oversees the general fleet operations services like-
  • Fleet provision and management services
  • Fleet support services
  • Specialized fleet services
  • Fleet decommission management
  • Transportation services
  • Fueling services
  • Oversees the surveying activities to understand the condition of NWC fleet and manages the development and implementation of vehicle utilization and allocation
  • Stays up to date with regards to market trends to enable efficient and cost effective management of NWC’s Fleet Services requirements
  • Conducts annual planning of fleet services and manages provisions as per the fleet demand
  • End to end management (through working with the relevant Fleet teams) of all vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance for NWC Fleet to ensure compliance to quality to maintain NWC standard
  • Manages NWC’s fleet network capacity and usage across the organization
  • Manages and reviews the performance of vendors for fully/partially outsourced services (e.g. rental services, driver services, transportation services) in coordination with the relevant GS teams

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree in Business Administration equivalent


Minimum Experience:

  • 8+ Years of Experience
