As a Facilities & Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing our office facilities and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, procurement, and vendor relations within a tech environment.
In this role, you will:<br/><br/>Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and space utilization; Supervise the maintenance work, sub-contractors, etc; Check devices and structure systems, such as Fire Alarms, CCTV, HVAC, etc, on a regular basis;<br/><br/>Respond to emergency calls and be ready to visit the site whenever required; Supervise the cleaning crew and security crew & their daily tasks; Ensure the building meets the safety & health standards and complies with all legal requirements; Supervise and provide support for both soft services, such as cleaning, security, and reception, and hard services, such as HVAC, electrical, CCTV, etc. Assist Facilities Manager in vendor management; Create and maintain relationships with vendors; Bring up new vendors and maintain backup vendors for each mode of office supplies and services. Maintain and update the list of vendors. Negotiate prices with the vendors; Submit invoices & follow-up on payments with the finance team; Ensure supplies & services meet quality standards; Maintain documents and make yearly budget forecast.
Requirements<br/><br/>High School or Diploma 3-4 years of experience in facility management, procurement, and supervision.. Strong knowledge of facilities operations, procurement processes, and vendor management. Good knowledge of maintenance, cleaning, spare parts, etc; Good understanding of electrical systems and mechanical systems; Good knowledge of HVAC, CCTC, etc. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software. Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus. Team player, excellent communicator, energetic, honest, transparent, hard worker.
