Development of the required Quality Management processes and procedures relevant to and tailored for PSDSARC R&D type projects. Identification of relevant Quality and Engineering standards to ensure Quality and Engineering Excellence in ARTD/DSS R&D projects. Establishment of a future Integrated Quality Management Systems (QMS) for the organization. Responsibility to ensure that sufficient trained resources in QM/QC are available to meet the organisation’s quality objectives Provide QM consultation support on projects and in the organization. Guidance regarding the best structure for the Quality Management Department. Skills SME in Quality Management as implemented in an integrated Quality Management System i.e. ISO 9001 or similar. Proven experience in setting up and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS) for high technology military R&D organisations. Experience in development and implementation of Quality Control measures and procedures. Experienced (10 years minimum) in a lead QA/QC role in the development, including prototype production, of industrial grade products in the military and/or aviation domains. Good presentation skills and proficiency in software tools required for QM, report/proposal writing and presentation.. High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office. Good leadership and management qualities. Good human interaction and communications skills.
