General manager of knowledge management

Academic Backgroud: Bachelor's degree in Library or Information Sciences, Knowledge Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (masters preferred). Experiences:10+ years of experience in knowledge management, preferably in public sector settings, and experience in leadership roles Roles: Lead and oversee the KM Co E, ensuring alignment with the organizational mandate Coordinate the development and implementation of KM strategy, policies, and best practices Follow up with other government leaders to ensure sustained efforts to implement KM strategy, policies, and best practices Help enforce high standards on planning, innovation and foresight; quality and accuracy of the knowledge repository; platform’s effectiveness, userfriendliness, and data security; and boost adoption of KM platform and policies Help secure and manage needed resources and budget Mentor and coach team heads
