HR Generalist | HR Operations | HR Administration | Recruitment | HRBP | HRISAbout the role: As a Project Cost Controller, you will be required to report to the Finance Manager and manage all project bills and invoices. Your duties will also include reviewing budgets, preparing financial reports and coordinating with PMO. To be successful as a Project Cost Controller, you should possess extensive experience in financial analysis and the ability to provide project managers with accurate financial information along with ensuring consistent billing and prepare reliable financial reports. Responsibilities Monthly and quarterly financial preparation of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and cashflow statement. Preparation of yearly budget for all divisions and joint venture companies. Performing company’s financial consolidation and monthly bank reconciliation. Assessing CEO, CFO and BDO for new business opportunities by performing financial modelling Support project teams in planning and cost control activities, including variation reporting and milestone progress monitoring. Establish cost control procedures and breakdowns for effective monitoring and control. Monitor contractual issues and their cost impact. ·Prepare payment certificates, record running costs, and compare them to the approved budget. Ensure project cost control and accounting are in line with project requirements. Provide budget updates and cash flow forecasts as required by clients. Collaborate with the project management team to resolve project issues and ensure timely project completion. Assist in the preparation and submission of project cash flow forecasts and budget estimates. Control and monitor project expenditure, including verification of invoices, claims, and project expenditures. Coordinate with the project management team to resolve project issues and ensure project delivery. Implement and develop policies and guidelines for the company. Preparation of accounting journal entries. Authorized to withdraw and deposit cash for the organization and to write cheques for suppliers and vendors. Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions. Overseeing purchases of all divisions and departments. Ensuring adequate controls are performed and that necessary documentation are approved as per the company's policy. Quarterly preparation and filing of VAT return and monthly filling of withholding tax return. Working with external auditors to prepare various reports for the year end audit reports. Ensuring all financial and accounting procedures are in accordance with the IFRS and SOCPABuilding the financial model for the new venture for DM group Monitoring payments to Vendors verifying their due payments and in coordination of concerned Department/Project Expenses. Skills and Attributes: Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and financial transactions Familiarity with financial regulations, i.e. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)Knowledge of MS Office, Dynamics, and databases Organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Reliability and strong work ethics Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience in similar role. Deep understanding of VAT and ZATCA. Proficiency in accounting software ‘Quick Books’ and Microsoft Office Suite. Fluency in English.
