JOB PURPOSETo Manage and follow up the insurance work for TAHAKOM’s assets inside and outside its facilities. To ensure that all departments understand insurance terms and conditions. To Follow-up the work and operations of the department and ensure that they do not violate or breach the insurance terms. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPlanning and Strategy Participate in the design and implementation of the Materials planning department’s strategy and roadmap to support alignment with the Materials Management directorate’s strategy. Establish the Materials planning department’s plans and provide input to the Materials Management directorate’s goals that support Shared Services & Work Environment Business unit’s overall strategic plans. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify the Materials planning department’s required projects to meet future business demands. Lead and drive the achievement of the Materials planning department's strategy, objectives, and KPIs within the accountabilities of the department. Develop regular reports on the department’s progress and outputs to be shared with relevant stakeholders in line with reporting requirements Budget Management Participate in the Materials planning department’s budgeting cycle and provide input to the budgeting process. Ensure effective utilization of the Materials planning department’s budget and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered. Investigate and propose implementing initiatives that result in a positive financial impact for the Materials planning department and mitigate financial and operational risks. People Management Identify, assess, and recruit key talent for the Materials planning department. Manage and assist subordinates to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures. Guide, mentor, and develop the Materials planning department’s team as part of their continuous development. Set performance objectives, provide the necessary support, evaluate/appraise the team, and provide regular feedback on performance. Promote a high-performance working environment within the Materials planning department. Process Management Recommend improvements to the Materials planning department’s policies and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of activity, ensuring relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high-quality and cost-effective results. Motivate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, considering leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement. Monitor day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures, including risk management rules and regulations Assets Insurance Manage the Insurance of assets of any property of TAHAKOM, such as surveillance cameras and other equipment, whether it was inside or outside the property. Maintain the Insurance of any accidents that may occur on-field/streets assets. Guarantee the claims and demand TAHAKOM’s rights in case of accidents. Ensure the cab’s value based on the Insurance policy for the covered area. Standardize the claim requirement and ensure the implementation it contains. Setting the technical conditions for insurance contracts according to the needs of the administration and to ensure the best coverage. Follow-up the work and operations of the department and ensure that they do not violate or breach the insurance terms. Oversee and manage the insurance policies for all assets owned by TAHAKOM, including buildings and products to ensure that these assets are adequately insured against potential risks and damages. Manage the entire insurance portfolio of TAHAKOM’s assets. This includes reviewing existing insurance policies, renewing policies when necessary, and procuring new policies as required. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with TAHAKOM’s assets. This involves analyzing various factors such as location, value, nature of the asset, and potential threats. Based on the assessments, provide recommendations for appropriate insurance coverage. Collaborate with insurance brokers, and other service providers to obtain the best insurance coverage terms and conditions for TAHAKOM. Maintain comprehensive documentation of insurance policies, claims, and related correspondence to ensure generating regular reports to provide insights on insurance coverage, claims history, and risk management activities. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the reporting line. JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSKnowledge & Experience 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or any other equivalent field is required.
