  • Job Description: Direct Sales Representative for SaaS ERP Software

Job brief:

  • We are seeking a dynamic and driven Direct Sales Representative to join our team. As a Direct Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales of our SaaS ERP software directly to customers.
  • Your focus will be on generating leads, building relationships, conducting product demonstrations, and closing deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential customers for our SaaS ERP software through market research, prospecting, and lead generation activities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and value proposition of our SaaS ERP software.
  • Understand customer needs, pain points, and business requirements to position our software as a solution.
  • Present proposals and negotiate pricing and contract terms to close sales deals.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals on a consistent basis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales team, marketing department, and product management to provide customer feedback, market insights, and contribute to the overall sales strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position our SaaS ERP software and differentiate it from competitors.
  • Continuously develop product knowledge and sales skills through training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements and skills:

  • Proven experience in direct sales, preferably in the SaaS industry or software solutions sector. Experience with ERP software is a plus.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of our SaaS ERP software to customers.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and drive the sales process from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to overcome objections and handle contract negotiations.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot or similar platforms to manage leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Proficient in using productivity tools such as email clients, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the SaaS industry, ERP software, and understanding of business processes is advantageous.
  • Note: This position may require occasional travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
