Duties And Responsibilities:
- Provide technical sales support and application design of Low Current and Security Systems, Services and Solutions.
- Interpret and follow the company's tendering processes and procedures to ensure that all aspects of tenders and client's requirements are met including relevant discipline codes and highest standards.
- Prepare tender documentation and/or project queries to consultants/clients/representatives to confirm and collect any missing data and project information.
- Coordinate and undertake the review of tender and project documents including project drawings to create and prepare the technical and commercial bids.
- Study and review the project drawings, specifications and preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOO), Quantity Surveying & Material take-off for each item as required by the specifications and drawings for residential business, commercial & industrial clients, etc.
- Coordinate and undertake the quick and accurate interpretation & review of tender/client's requirements and system drawings to identify any difference to tender requirements and raise queries against specification.
- Prepare accurate specification documents to be submitted to vendors for quotations of cost/price of materials and equipment; and evaluate the same against tender specifications to include in final tender/project documentation.
- Analyze, evaluate, and select the most appropriate suppliers and subcontractors, prepare cost comparative study report to get final selection of supplier/subcontractor & price.
- Prepare materials take off for complete Low Current systems such as but not limited to IPCCTV, Fire Alarm System, Data & Telephone Systems, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Nurse Calling System, SMATV, Audio-visual/Public Address System, Clock System and Building Management System).
- Prepare materials take off for complete Physical Security Systems such as but not limited to Road Blockers, Rising Bollards, Bulletproofing, etc.)
- Attend all required Job Explanation/Pre-Bid meeting arranged by the Client/Consultant and to study about the Contract, Scope of Work, and Specifications.
- Prepare technical proposal in view of tender technical submittals & project specifications.
- Prepare all bid documents including commercial and technical submittals.
- Prepare reports and supporting documents to submit to Proposal Coordinator to identify areas requiring more information to ensure the company is positioned to win and secure bids.
- Contribute to all Requests for Pricing (RFP's) and Requests for Information (RFI's) responses.
- Provide expert level of technical and system design and assistance to Project Department team in the field of Low Current & Security Systems.
- Build, maintain and enhance customer relationships as applicable.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction which should result from proficient design and honest commitment.
- Monitor and reports on market trends, potential projects and competitor activity.
- Responsible to achieve the set sales target. This also includes exploiting tactics to enhance sales and increase revenue.
- Promote the company's services to existing clients as well as identifying and acquiring new clients
- Master technically the company product and offerings.
- Represent and negotiating on behalf of the company with key customers.
- Develop presentation, reports and proposals as part of sales tools to illustrate benefits from the use of goods and services the company is offering
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of work-related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Experience in GCC is preferred
- The candidate shall be Certified System Designer
- Working knowledge in low-current and security system solutions in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable
- Excellent verbal & written (Arabic and English) communications skills, presentation skills & interpersonal skills
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Windows, Office applications, and Drafting applications
- Self-motivated, resourceful, sales oriented and result driven with knowledge of customer relationship management and strong drive to achieve sales target
- Proven sales track record in achieving results within the security and low-current industry.
- Have sound business and technical knowledge of the security and audio-visual technology industry.
- Candidates with existing contacts or established customer base will have added advantage
