About the Role

Anqa Industry Factory is looking for an Accountant to join its team in Khamis Mushait, Asir. The accountant is responsible for preparing and organizing financial documents, tracking revenue, recording accounting transactions, as well as auditing bank accounts and preparing necessary reconciliations. This role is full-time and requires two to five years of experience.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Auditing financial claims and ensuring they meet legal and financial requirements.
• Preparing, organizing, and documenting disbursement documents and following up on their audit and approval by authorized regulatory bodies.
• Monitoring current and capital expenditures based on the monthly financial status of budget items.
• Preparing financial statements and monthly summaries, as well as preparing and organizing final annual accounts.
• Preparing accounting entries and recording financial transactions in accounting records.
• Auditing bank accounts and preparing necessary reconciliations with monthly matching statements.
• Developing accounting methods and procedures and keeping pace with scientific and technical developments in the field.
• Preparing specialized documents and reports related to expenses and revenues and saving them in the designated database.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Practical experience ranging from two to five years in the field of accounting.
• Ability to prepare and organize disbursement documents and follow up on the collection, documentation, and analysis of revenues.
• Proficiency in preparing accounting entries and recording financial transactions.
• Skill in auditing bank accounts and preparing necessary reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare reports and documents related to expenses and revenues and archive them.

Work Environment

The accountant works at Anqa Industry Factory in the city of Khamis Mushait, the southern region, within a financial team that supports the factory's operational processes. The position is full-time and requires commitment to daily, monthly, and annual accounting tasks.
