The Field Service Engineer MEAT & CIS is responsible for ensuring quick resolution of complex customer challenges and empowering the team members with their functional knowledge. Working across all levels of the business, you will play a key role in contributing to the growth of overall business (Life Science, Applied and Medical) beyond service as well. This will require collaborating with team members at the point of impact and across the organization. Identify and implement opportunities to improve, while also operating as a change agent to ensure processes and standard work are being sustained and effective. This position reports to the Sales Enablement Manager MEAT & CIS and is part of the Service Team, based in Saudi Arabia and working remotely to cover MEAT & CIS.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform Advanced Installations as well as Advanced Repairs and Preventive Maintenance
• Work closely with MEAT&CIS Channel Partners and support their training, installation and repair cases and provide informal guidance to junior team members and extend support in complex situations by proactively sharing knowledge
• Support business implementation and readiness plans, through project planning, management and creation of work instructions and SOPs and prepare and execute action plans for growth through service revenue generation in MEAT&CIS

Desired Candidate Profile

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Demonstrated technical expertise in repair, calibration, maintenance, and upgrade of microscopy systems and related equipment.
• Proficient in range of products from a single or multiple product groups with advanced expertise in at least 2 complex products from a product group
• Networking, influencing, and communicating effectively across functions and at all levels.
• Training and/or coaching experience
• Travel, Motor Vehicle Record
• Up to 70% travel

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Track record of delivering standardization, simplification and continuous improvement across key business areas
• Experience in working in a matrix organisation including building relationships remotely and cross culturally.
