We’re hiring a Software Engineer to join one of the region’s most ambitious early-stage deep-tech companies, building foundational technology across AI, systems and hardware.
This role is for engineers who would rather own a problem than own a layer.
You might be working on backend services one week, infrastructure or data paths the next, and then diving closer to the hardware interface when that’s where the problem needs to be solved. You’ll work with a small, highly experienced engineering team where the expectation isn’t “stay in your lane” — it’s figure out what needs to be built and make it work.
What you’ll do• Take ambiguous technical problems from idea → architecture → production• Work across backend services, APIs, infrastructure, tooling and lower-level systems• Build internal tools that make the entire engineering team faster• Read unfamiliar codebases quickly and make safe, production-quality changes• Make technical decisions rather than waiting for perfect requirements• Own what you ship — including reliability in production• Work on problems spanning software, distributed systems, AI infrastructure and hardware What we’re looking for
You’ll have 3+ years of production software engineering experience and strong programming fundamentals.
We’re particularly interested in engineers comfortable working across different types of languages.
That could mean experience with a systems-oriented language such as:C++ • Rust • Go
alongside a higher-level language such as:Python • Type Script/Java Script • Java
You don't need to know every language above. What matters is that you’ve demonstrated the ability to work across different layers of a technical system and can learn new technologies quickly.
Experience with Linux, infrastructure, distributed systems, networking, cloud platforms or open source would be particularly valuable.
