DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive all incoming goods, materials, and supplies from vendors and suppliers
- Inspect deliveries to ensure items match purchase orders in quantity, quality, and specifications
- Verify delivery documentation such as invoices, delivery notes, and purchase orders
- Record all received items accurately into the inventory or procurement system
- Report and document any damaged, missing, or incorrect items
- Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers to resolve discrepancies or issues
- Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and documentation of received stock
- Assist in organizing and storing goods in designated storage areas or warehouses
- Maintain accurate receiving logs and records for audit and tracking purposes
- Follow up on pending or partial deliveries with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and receiving procedures
- Assist in stock counts and inventory reconciliation when required
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the receiving area
- Ensure proper handling of perishable or sensitive items (if applicable)
- Support internal departments with supply requests and distribution coordination
- Maintain safety standards during unloading and handling of goods
- Assist in preparing reports related to receiving activities and inventory status
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in logistics, supply chain, or business is an advantage
- 1 3 years of experience in receiving, warehousing, inventory, or stores operations (preferably in hospitality or retail)
- Basic understanding of inventory control and procurement processes
- Familiarity with purchase orders, delivery notes, and stock documentation
- Experience using inventory or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or similar systems is an advantage
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for record keeping and reporting
