MAB Consult is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Civil Engineer to join our team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia . The Civil Engineer will be responsible for providing site supervision and technical oversight of civil works, ensuring that construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor civil construction activities on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review and monitor contractorsu2019 work progress and ensure works are executed according to the approved schedule.
• Inspect civil works, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with project quality standards.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and other technical documents.
• Identify and report construction issues, discrepancies, and non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, project managers, and other disciplines to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Monitor site progress and provide regular updates and reports to the project management team.
• Ensure that all civil works comply with applicable codes, standards and project specifications.
• Participate in site meetings, inspections, testing and commissioning activities as required.
• Maintain proper records of inspections, site activities, progress and technical issues.
• Support the project team in maintaining quality, safety, schedule and overall project objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bacheloru2019s Degree in Civil Engineering .
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Saudi Arabia .
• At least 2 years of experience working with an engineering consultancy/consultant in a supervision role.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, specifications and quality control.
• Experience in site supervision and coordination with contractors.
• Good knowledge of relevant engineering codes and standards.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication skills , both written and verbal.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
• Must be available to join immediately.
