Role Description The Video Editor role at MEM Business Services Company is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished videos, applying transitions, effects, and music to create engaging visual content aligned with brand guidelines and project objectives. Daily tasks include organizing and backing up media, selecting the best takes, performing color correction and grading, and collaborating with content creators, designers, and marketing team members to refine concepts and storyboards. The role also involves creating basic motion graphics, integrating graphic elements, and preparing video assets for various platforms and formats. The Video Editor is expected to meet deadlines, maintain consistent quality standards, and contribute creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing. Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and visual enhancement. Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics integration. Proficiency with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar). Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and export settings for digital platforms. Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and attention to detail, with the ability to follow brand and style guidelines. Ability to work on-site in Jeddah, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment. Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio showcasing previous video work is required.
