About the Associate Manager, Distributor Inventory Management Role

Nestlé Saudi Arabia is seeking an Associate Manager, Distributor Inventory Management to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role serves as the primary point of contact and advocate for VMI/CMI customers, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and agreed levels of customer service and satisfaction. The Associate Manager is responsible for efficiently managing the customer end-to-end replenishment process, leveraging systems and processes to consistently deliver proactive solutions for customer demand fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive customer satisfaction by consistently delivering high-quality service and meeting service fulfillment measures.
• Conduct proactive data analytics on customer behavior trends and out-of-stock risks.
• Utilize advanced planning, forecasting, and replenishment techniques to optimize sales and inventory levels at customer DCs, incorporating inputs from Demand & Supply Planning, Sales, Customer, and Service Strategy.
• Generate optimized replenishment orders in Nestlé or customer VMI/CMI systems, balancing inventory and service goals using sales history, forecast, and stock availability data.
• Manage the VMI (Vendor Management Inventory) technical solution effectively, including data maintenance and alignment with Nestlé and Customer systems.
• Develop and maintain inputs to the inventory management system, covering network changes, lead-times, delivery expectations, and new product introductions.
• Optimize distribution costs through collaboration with cross-functional business partners such as Physical Logistics, Demand and Supply Planning (DSP), Transportation, and Supply Chain Analytics.
• Engage professionally with customers to resolve issues and concerns related to the stock replenishment process.
• Ensure accurate and timely information is available for customers to manage stock-related activities.
• Execute strategies from Operational Demand & Supply Review (OpsDSR) to ensure stock allocation based on business and customer prioritization.

Required Qualifications

• A College/University degree is required.
• Good knowledge of Generating Demand, Supply Chain, and Finance processes for pricing.
• Understanding of Logistics processes, including Materials Handling (*, picking to deliver, transport optimization, plant and transport route determination).
• Knowledge of Supply Chain E2E Processes and Customer Service Best Practices and solutions.

Experience and Skills

• 2-4 years of operational experience, preferably in an order fulfillment role within a similar market environment or trade structure.
• Beneficial operational experience includes working for or with a customer in a collaborative environment.
• Experience in other Supply Chain functions such as Physical Logistics or Sales support is an advantage.
• Prior involvement in related business improvement projects is also beneficial.
