Role Description The Architectural Engineer will work on-site in Riyadh in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and civil engineers to design and oversee construction projects. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing architectural drawings and specifications, coordinating structural and architectural aspects, and ensuring designs comply with local codes, safety standards, and client requirements. The role involves conducting site inspections, monitoring construction progress, resolving technical issues, and supporting quality control across all project phases. The Architectural Engineer will also participate in project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling, while maintaining effective communication with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Architecture with the ability to develop and review detailed designs and drawings. Experience in Civil Engineering and Construction, including familiarity with building codes, materials, and site practices. Proven Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and tracking progress against milestones. Demonstrated Teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field. Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit or similar BIM tools). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage. Previous experience in large-scale construction projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is preferred.
