About the Role

Batterjee Medical College is seeking a Tourism Security Vocational Trainer to deliver industry-aligned, competency-based training. This full-time position, based in Jeddah and Makkah, requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on preparing students for security and safety roles within the tourism, hospitality, hotel, resort, and destination management sectors. The role involves combining practical security expertise with effective vocational training skills to ensure students develop essential competencies aligned with TVTC requirements and Saudi labor market needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver competency-based theoretical and practical training in Tourism Security and related subjects, adhering to approved curricula.
• Conduct practical exercises, workshops, simulations, and scenarios that reflect real-world tourism and hospitality security environments.
• Integrate relevant industry procedures, professional standards, and current sector practices into all training delivery.
• Apply practical and student-centered teaching methodologies to support comprehensive competency development.
• Develop and administer practical assessments, scenario-based evaluations, and skills checklists to evaluate student performance.
• Provide structured feedback, coaching, and mentoring to enhance student learning and address areas requiring additional support.
• Contribute to the development, review, and continuous improvement of Tourism Security training materials and curricula.
• Ensure all training activities comply with TVTC regulations, approved curricula, institutional policies, and quality standards.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of training delivery, assessments, attendance, and workplace placements.

Specific Training Areas

The trainer will deliver instruction in critical areas of tourism security, including:

• Security procedures and access control
• Guest, visitor, and employee safety protocols
• Security patrols and surveillance awareness
• Incident reporting and documentation
• Emergency and evacuation procedures
• Risk and hazard identification
• Crowd management and event security
• Conflict management and professional communication
• Security awareness and suspicious-behavior reporting
• Protection of tourism facilities and assets

Practical Training Oversight

• Coordinate and supervise on-the-job training (OJT), internships, and field training at approved industry locations.
• Support students during practical placements within hotels, resorts, tourism destinations, and other relevant environments.
• Monitor student attendance, performance, and professional behavior during training placements.
• Maintain effective communication with workplace supervisors and industry partners to ensure meaningful exposure to real-world security operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• TVTC Trainer Approval is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant security or vocational training role.
• Demonstrated strong practical security experience combined with effective vocational training skills.
• Ability to deliver hands-on instruction, simulations, and workplace-based learning.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires active participation in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and institutional initiatives.
