About Waad Education and the Role

Waad Academy Schools, part of Waad Education, located in Jeddah, Makkah Province, is seeking a qualified and dedicated ICT Teacher to join their team for a full-time position. The school is looking for an educator who is committed to inspiring students, fostering critical thinking, and contributing to a high-performing academic environment. This role requires an immediate start.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The ICT Teacher will play a central role in delivering a comprehensive curriculum that promotes active learning and meets established educational standards. This position involves guiding students through their academic and personal development, ensuring a supportive and engaging learning experience within the school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional lessons designed to facilitate active learning and adhere to curriculum standards.
• Evaluate and document students' academic and personal development through various methods, including tests, assignments, and observations.
• Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere that actively encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Address diverse learning needs by providing tailored guidance, additional support, or appropriate resources to ensure the success of all students.
• Collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators to communicate student progress, address concerns, and support overall student development.

Qualifications and Experience

• A completed Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Proven teaching qualifications, such as a Bachelor's or Master’s in Education, PGCE, QTS, or an equivalent certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, with demonstrated exposure to international curricula such as BSO, IB, or similar frameworks.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Proficiency in the subject matter of Information and Communication Technology.
• Proficiency in key teaching methodologies and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in standards of child protection and safeguarding.
• Qualifications such as NPQ (National Professional Qualification) and other teaching professional development certifications are considered a strong advantage.

Work Setting

This is a full-time teaching position based at Waad Academy Schools in Jeddah, within the Makkah Province. The role involves working collaboratively within an established academic environment focused on student success and development.
