Job Summary The Insurance Officer is responsible for managing insurance operations, processing claims and Total Loss transactions, coordinating with insurance providers, ensuring policy renewals, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities Perform daily reconciliation of insurance policies. Ensure insurance policies are renewed for active contracts. Review the invoices received from the insurance companies Manage insurance for terminated contracts where ownership has not yet been transferred. Process Total Loss transactions and prepare ownership transfer letters for insurance companies. Follow up with insurance companies and aggregators regarding Total Loss and accident claims. Coordinate with internal departments to settle excess amounts payable to customers. Update TAMM by removing actual drivers and applying the required changes for Total Loss contracts. Remove restrictions in TAMM for Total Loss cases. Coordinate with insurance companies to cancel third-party insurance when applicable.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.0–2 years of experience in Insurance, Risk Management, Insurance Operations, Claims, Underwriting, or a related field. Strong communication and coordination skills. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
