Role Summary
The Property Management Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day financial management of a diverse property portfolio. This role ensures accurate financial record-keeping, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting standards, supporting the overall financial health of managed assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations for a portfolio of properties.
- Record transactions, prepare invoices, and track rental income and operating expenses.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Prepare periodic financial reports for property owners and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor payment collections and handle vendor payments.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management for each property.
- Assist with audit preparations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.
- Collaborate with the property management team to resolve financial discrepancies and improve financial processes.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess 0-1 year of experience in an accounting or financial role. A foundational understanding of financial operations and principles is beneficial for this position.
