To oversee the design, implementation, and operation of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Systems, with a focus on Building Management Systems (BMS) and Firefighting Systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and international standards while achieving the highest levels of safety and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic / Communications Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 10 years of experience in ELV systems. Proven experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, towers, or major projects. Professional certifications preferred, such as: NFPA Certifications BMS Vendor Certifications (Honeywell / Siemens / Schneider / Johnson Controls)
Required Technical Experience:ELV Systems:CCTV Systems Access Control Systems Structured Cabling Public Address (PA) Systems Data & Telecom Networks Intrusion Detection Systems BMS Systems:Design, programming, and monitoring of Building Management Systems System integration (HVAC, Lighting, Energy Monitoring) Experience with protocols: BACnet, Modbus, KNX, Lon Works (an added advantage) Testing & Commissioning of BMS systems Firefighting Systems:Comprehensive knowledge of: Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Pumps Drawing review in accordance with NFPA and Civil Defense requirements Coordination with BMS systems and fire alarm integration Key Responsibilities:Review and approve ELV drawings and Shop Drawings. Supervise on-site implementation and ensure quality. Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP / HVAC / Civil). Manage contractors and suppliers. Prepare Method Statements and ITPs. Execute Testing & Commissioning. Resolve technical issues during implementation and operation. Prepare periodic technical reports. Ensure compliance with safety standards and approved codes. Technical Skills:Auto CAD & Revit (MEP) MS Project or Primavera Reading and analyzing Single Line Diagrams Preparing BOQ and Technical Submittals Soft Skills:Leadership and team management skills Strong problem-solving ability Excellent communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Additional Requirements (Preferred):Experience in projects within Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region Knowledge of Saudi Civil Defense requirements Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
