Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Jeddah for a Health Safety Environment (HSE) Officer. The HSE Officer will be responsible for enforcing workplace safety protocols, monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and developing and implementing environmental health and safety (EHS) policies. Additional responsibilities include conducting safety training sessions, investigating workplace incidents, and ensuring adherence to both local and international safety standards.
Qualifications
Expertise in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Workplace Safety standards and practices Solid knowledge and application of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) frameworks and risk management NEBOSH certification or equivalent qualifications in health and safety Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform incident investigations and root cause analysis Effective communication skills to deliver training and promote a culture of safety among employees Proficiency in interpreting and implementing local and international safety regulations Previous experience in the construction or related industries is an advantage Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred
