Job Purpose The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring high performance, safety, and reliability. This role balances field leadership of technical teams with engineering-level planning, estimation, and reporting.
Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of electrical and mechanical maintenance teams. Assigning tasks and monitoring work quality and timely completion. Collect and check daily reports and log sheets of operation for all types of MEP equipment. Oversee and implement preventive and corrective maintenance for all electro-mechanical systems (HVAC, electrical, pumps, motors, plumbing, and related equipment). Follow up on operation and maintenance procedures in conjunction with the line manager and in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually). Conduct routine site visits and inspections to ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently, including inspections for new projects. Diagnose faults across electrical and mechanical equipment and provide technical guidance to the team for timely repairs. Prepare detailed reports on any unscheduled breakdowns, including root cause analysis and recommendations for further operations. Review shop drawings, material submittals, and asset documentation regularly. Perform materials and labor estimation for additional work and prepare technical quotations. Developing and implementing quality standards while analyzing performance to ensure system improvements and energy-saving initiatives. Ensuring strict compliance with safety procedures, technical standards, building codes, and relevant health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s of Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. High level of Spoken and Written English. Proven record of versatility and hands-on experience in Hard Services (MEP) FM Portfolios and ground operations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. Ability to support, manage, lead, and enthuse others. Excellent attention to detail and organizational/planning skills. Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and work to tight deadlines.
