Job Title: Legal Specialist Job Summary:The Legal Specialist is responsible for overseeing legal affairs, governance, and compliance within the company, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role contributes to maintaining a legally sound work environment by drafting and reviewing legal documents, developing policies, and monitoring regulatory and compliance requirements. Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor the implementation of governance and compliance requirements in accordance with Saudi laws and regulations. Prepare, review, and periodically update internal policies and regulatory guidelines. Draft and review contracts and agreements, ensuring their alignment with applicable laws and regulations. Provide legal advice to various departments to support informed decision-making. Manage the compliance register, identify legal risks, and develop mitigation plans. Represent the company before judicial and quasi-judicial authorities when needed. Prepare periodic reports on legal status, compliance, and governance, and submit them to senior management. Provide support during internal and external audits related to legal compliance. Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Law or Legal Studies from a recognized university.2 to 5 years of practical experience in legal affairs, preferably with experience in governance and compliance. Advanced knowledge of laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (e.g., Companies Law, Labor Law, Commercial Law, Anti-Money Laundering, Compliance regulations, etc.). Strong skills in drafting contracts, regulations, and legal policies. Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to identify legal risks. Proficiency in computer skills and government electronic platforms. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different departments.
