About the Job: The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural solutions across a wide range of projects. The candidate is expected to ensure safe, efficient, and fully code-compliant designs while coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities Prepare structural designs for residential, commercial, governmental, and industrial projects. Perform structural analysis and modeling using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and STAAD. Design structural elements including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and shear walls. Prepare detailed construction and shop drawings in coordination with the drafting team. Review and approve structural drawings submitted by consultants or contractors. Prepare professional structural design reports and calculation packages. Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. Participate in client and authority meetings when required. Ensure compliance with municipal regulations and the Saudi Building Code (SBC). Provide technical support during construction to ensure design compliance.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Structural Engineering preferred).3–10 years of structural design experience within Saudi Arabia. Strong knowledge of SBC, ACI, and BS codes. Proficiency in structural analysis and design software. Experience using Auto CAD; Revit Structure proficiency is required. Ability to prepare clear and professional engineering reports. Good command of the English language (written and spoken). Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
