Job Summary: The Odoo Application Support Officer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Odoo ERP applications with a strong focus on POS, Inventory/Warehouse Management, CRM, Dashboards & Reports, System Integrations, and Customizations. The role ensures smooth retail and sales operations, accurate stock management, reliable system integrations, effective CRM processes, and meaningful business insights through dashboards and reports. Responsibilities and Tasks: Provide end-to-end support for Odoo POS across all stores and sales locations. Ensure high availability and performance of POS systems during business hours. Configure and support products, pricing, taxes, promotions, discounts, payment methods, and users. Troubleshoot POS issues related to billing, session closures, synchronization, offline mode, and POS hardware. Support POS setup and go-live for new stores and business units. Support Odoo Inventory modules including receipts, deliveries, transfers, adjustments, and replenishment. Ensure stock accuracy,serial tracking, and correct warehouse/ location configuration. Analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies between POS, warehouse, accounting, and integrations. Support cycle counts, stock audits, and valuation processes. Assist in configuration of multi-warehouse and multi-location operations. Configure and support Odoo CRM pipelines, stages, leads, opportunities, and activities. Customize CRM workflows to align with business processes. Support lead assignment rules, follow-ups, and sales performance tracking. Ensure integration between CRM, POS, Sales, and Inventory modules. Provide user support and training for CRM users and sales teams. Design, develop, and maintain Odoo dashboards and operational reports in Ninja for POS, Inventory, CRM, and Sales. Build custom reports to support management and business decision-making. Support data validation and ensure report accuracy and consistency. Assist users in understanding dashboards and reports for effective usage. Support and monitor integrations between Odoo and external systems such as e Commerce platforms, payment gateways, OMS/WMS, accounting, and third-party services. Monitor integration jobs, logs, and data synchronization. Identify and resolve data mismatches and integration failures. Coordinate with developers and vendors for integration enhancements and fixes. Support custom Odoo modules, workflows, reports, and fields. Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. Support testing, UAT, and validation of custom developments. Ensure customizations follow Odoo best practices and do not impact system stability. Maintain documentation for custom features and configurations. Develop integration & customization as per business requirements. Prepare test cases and validate enhancements before production deployment. Support release activities and post-go-live stabilization. Ensure adherence to approved change management processes. Act as a primary support contact for store users, warehouse teams, sales teams, and business users. Provide user training, SOPs, and user manuals for POS, Inventory, CRM, and reports. Manage user roles, access rights, and security configurations. Maintain support tickets, system documentation, and knowledge base articles. Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.3–5 years of experience in Odoo ERP application support with strong focus on POS, Inventory, Sales, Product, CRM, and Reporting. Strong experience in retail, multi-branch environments. Strong experience in integrations and customizations. Odoo functional certification is a plus. Strong hands-on experience with Odoo POS, Inventory, CRM, and Reporting. Good understanding of retail, sales, and warehouse business processes. Experience supporting dashboards, custom reports, integrations, and custom modules. Strong knowledge in Python, XML, Postgre SQL, and Odoo Studio. Experience with UAT, issue tracking systems, and release management. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work under pressure, especially during retail peak hours. Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
