The Technical Support Engineer will provide expert-level support for Microsoft 365, Windows, and related systems. Responsibilities include managing Active Directory and Azure AD Entra ID, troubleshooting security solutions like Bit Locker, and handling hardware installations such as printers. The role demands strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical issues effectively. This position requires 2 years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of IT fundamentals. Strategic Duties The Technical Support Engineer will strategize and implement IT support solutions to enhance system efficiency and security. Additionally, they will drive improvements in support processes and troubleshoot complex issues to minimize downtime. Their role will involve proactive system monitoring and security compliance. Technical Duties The Technical Support Engineer will manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and Windows operating systems, including installations and configurations. They will handle Active Directory and Azure AD Entra ID administration, implement and support Bit Locker encryption, and resolve issues with printers and other peripherals. They will also address network connectivity problems and ensure overall system performance and security. General Administrative Duties The Technical Support Engineer will document and track technical issues and resolutions, maintaining accurate records for future reference. They will manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring proper access and security. The role includes coordinating with other IT teams to align support efforts with organizational goals.
Required Educational Level and Certificates Required Educational Level:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Certificates:Comp TIA A+ or equivalent certification. Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals. Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or related Microsoft certifications. Additional certifications in network or security fundamentals (e.g., Comp TIA Network+, Comp TIA Security+) are a plus. Required Experience2 years of experience in a technical support role or related field, with a strong focus on supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and network fundamentals. Proven experience with Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD Entra ID management. Hands-on experience with security solutions such as Bit Locker and peripheral devices like printers. Demonstrated ability to handle complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
