About the Job
We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Corporate Banking team as Credit Analysts Assistant Manager.
Job Purpose
The position is responsible for credit initiation of new clients as well as periodic credit risk assessment of existing Corporate Banking clients within Corporate & Institutional Banking. Position holder will be responsible for timely drafting of objective credit analysis through Facility Applications in collaboration with Regional/Segment Heads. The role ensures that facilities are rightly sized, optimally structured and remain within the bank’s credit lending criteria to maximize bank’s return objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of high-quality credit memos and facility applications Working closely with coverage teams to enhance the bank’s credit portfolio Monitoring credit documentation to ensure minimal deferral and document deficiency Managing risk to ensure all risk factors are ascertained/mitigated (pre-facility) and adequately monitored, post-facility drawdowns. Maintaining credit files with updated information to ensure minimal discrepancies and/or exceptions.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Banking or related field(s) Minimum 3-years of Banking experience Passed CFA Level 1 or higher (CFA Charter Holders are highly encouraged to apply) Strong knowledge of credit analysis, financial statements, risk management Superior financial skills Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills Strong command of the English language (Arabic is an advantage) Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
