What you'll do:● Ensure, in accordance with the Corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating,review and auditing of the Company HSE Systems.● Enforce safety practices and procedures.● Assist the Commercial, Engineering and Operations Department in their dealings withcontractors in all issues concerned with Health and Safety at work.● Provide safety briefing, coaching and training.● Conduct specific task risk assessment and monitoring corrective and preventive actionreports.● Ensure that safety standards are adhered.● Prepare an emergency management plan.● Prepare for fire mock drills plans and yearly basis implementation.● Conduct safety audits both internal and external.● Carry out analysis of accident / incident, identifying trends and suggesting improvementplans.● Provide technical support to Senior Management on any safety related subjects.● Provide Safety, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures start upactivities.● Ensure that safety related documentation and records are updated and periodicallycommunicate it to all relevant stakeholders● Prepare safety toolbox talk topics , HSE Documentation.● Identify safety hazards and safety trends.● Identify and report operational risk management issues.● Develop methods, actions and recommendations to ensure compliance to safetystandards.
What you’ll need:● Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or a similar role● Minimum 4 years of experience in E-commerce in a related field● Having ISO 45001 / 14001 Certification● Strong experience in working as a business partner in delivering better decision supportand enabling strategic initiatives which help to improve organization financialperformance.● Excellent analytical skills as well as strong business acumen.● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationshipswith internal and external stakeholders.● Deep Knowledge about Warehousing HSE management● Results-oriented and tenacious.● Comfortable communicating at all levels of seniority within a large organization.● In-depth understanding of Health and Safety legislation, UAE CIVIL Defense code.
● Experience managing change in multiple site environment and managing multiple directreports● Risk assessment/management● Administrative policies and procedures● EPC/FM industry experience.
