Job Summary:The Lead – Policies and Procedures will be responsible for the development, review, and maintenance of the bank's internal policies and procedures. This role ensures that all documentation aligns with regulatory requirements set by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), as well as international standards. This role is critical in ensuring that the bank's operations remain compliant with evolving regulations and that internal processes are efficient and well-documented
Job Requirements: Policy Development and Maintenance:Develop, review, and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SAMA regulations and international best practices. Ensure policies and procedures develop according to Group Control Documents Management framework (“GCDF”) for proper governance. Ensure all policies are clearly documented, accessible, and communicated to relevant stakeholders. Ensure policy and procedures raised in the Bank Document System (DRS). Regulatory Compliance:Monitor changes in local and international regulations affecting banking operations. Ensure timely updates to policies and procedures in response to regulatory changes. Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with departments such as Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Operations to gather input and ensure policies are comprehensive and practical. Facilitate discussions and workshops to address policy-related issues and gather feedback. Training and Awareness:Develop training materials and conduct sessions to educate staff on new and updated policies. Promote a culture of compliance and awareness throughout the organization. Quality Assurance:Implement mechanisms to regularly assess the effectiveness of policies and procedures. Recommend improvements based on assessments and feedback. Prepare reports and presentation for senior management on policy compliance and areas for improvement.
Job Requirements: Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. Experience:Minimum of 10 years of experience in policy development, compliance, or risk management within the banking sector, and minimum 5 years’ experience in KSA banking sector. Proven track record of developing and implementing policies in a regulated environment. Certifications:Professional certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Risk Professional (CRP), or equivalent are preferred. Skills:Strong understanding of SAMA regulations and international banking standards. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in policy documentation and management tools. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with international standards such as ISO 27001, Basel III, or COSO frameworks. Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages. Familiarity with digital policy management systems.
