Key Accountability Areas & Aligned Activities1. Stakeholder Identification & Analysis Identify, map, and prioritise stakeholders relevant to the company’s UTM operations. Analyse stakeholder interests, concerns, influence, and potential operational or regulatory impact. Maintain an up-to-date stakeholder database, including engagement history and communication records.
2. Stakeholder Communication & Engagement Develop and execute stakeholder communication and engagement plans to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent information sharing. Organise and facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, briefings, and presentations. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder enquiries, feedback, and issue resolution. Develop and distribute communication materials such as newsletters, reports, briefing notes, and presentations.
3. Regulatory Liaison & Compliance Support Support the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation and compliance reports related to UTM operations. Monitor, analyse, and interpret regulatory developments impacting UTM and UAS operations. Build and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory authorities and government agencies.
4. Industry Collaboration & Partnerships Participate in industry working groups, forums, and committees to support the development of UTM standards and best practices. Collaborate with industry partners on joint UTM initiatives, pilots, and demonstrations. Track, analyse, and report on industry trends, emerging technologies, and policy developments relevant to UTM.
5. Community Outreach & Public Engagement Design and implement community outreach programmes to address public concerns and improve understanding of UTM and UAS operations. Coordinate with local authorities, municipalities, and community organisations to support responsible and safe UAS operations. Capture, document, and respond to community feedback, concerns, and complaints.
6. Data Analysis, Reporting & Performance Monitoring Collect and analyse stakeholder and community feedback to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Prepare regular reports and presentations on stakeholder engagement activities, outcomes, and insights. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of stakeholder communication and engagement strategies.
7. Policies, Processes & Continuous Improvement Execute day-to-day activities in full compliance with organisational policies, processes, and procedures. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across systems, processes, and engagement practices, considering leading industry practices, regulatory changes, cost efficiency, and productivity. Support the implementation of process enhancements aligned with organisational and UTM strategic objectives.
Knowledge and Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in air traffic Management or equivalent. Proven experience in stakeholder management, public relations, or government affairs. Strong understanding of the UAS industry and UTM concepts. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships
Education and Certifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Political Science, Aviation Management, or a related field.
Desirable Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards Experience in the UAS industry
