???? Role Purpose The Senior IT Security Engineer is responsible for implementing, administering, and operating the Bank’s security tools and platforms during the foundational phase. This role ensures that selected security technologies are deployed securely, configured correctly, and operated effectively to meet security and regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on technical leadership role bridging architecture and day-to-day security operations.

Key Responsibilities Security Tool Administration & Operations Deploy, configure, and manage security platforms including:SIEM and log management solutions EDR/XDR for endpoints and servers Vulnerability scanning and management tools Cloud security monitoring and logging DLP and data protection tools Ensure platforms are updated, hardened, and operating within defined SLAs.
Security Operations & Monitoring Oversee daily security operations including:SIEM alert monitoring and tuning Intrusion detection and endpoint protection Cloud and container security monitoring Lead technical troubleshooting of security incidents, outages, and performance issues. Support incident response activities including containment, investigation, and recovery.
Implementation & Engineering Translate security architecture and standards into operational configurations. Implement OS hardening, patch management, and secure baseline configurations. Enforce least privilege and secure access controls across systems. Configure VPNs, secure remote access, and network security policies.
Vulnerability & Risk Management Implement and maintain vulnerability scanning services. Coordinate penetration testing and remediation of findings. Track and resolve security observations from audits and assessments.
Team & Process Leadership Lead and mentor security tool administrators and engineers. Define operational procedures, runbooks, and escalation processes. Support manpower planning, performance evaluations, and skills development.
???? Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience administering enterprise security tools. Proven experience in SIEM operations, EDR management, and vulnerability management. Solid understanding of cloud security controls and logging. Experience operating in regulated or financial environments. Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.
