Country Manager/ Business Head– KSADepartment: Retail Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer Location: Saudi Arabia Job Summary & Purpose The Country Manager – KSA will serve as the overall business leader for a large, multi-format consumer electronics and lifestyle retail organization operating across Saudi Arabia. This role carries full ownership of P&L, revenue growth, and market expansion across the Kingdom. The Country Manager will oversee end-to-end retail operations, leading Regional Managers (e.g., Riyadh, Jeddah) and the Head of Merchandising – KSA, ensuring strong regional execution aligned with centralized commercial strategies. The position requires a balance of strategic leadership and operational excellence, combining business growth, market development, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver sustainable, long-term results. Key Responsibilities1. Country P&L Ownership Full accountability for the KSA P&L, ensuring top-line revenue growth and bottom-line profitability. Monitor and optimize revenue streams, cost structures, and margins to maximize overall profitability. Drive strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and financial performance at a country level.2. Strategic Business Growth & Market Expansion Define and execute country-level growth strategies, including new store openings, regional expansion, and market development initiatives. Build long-term roadmaps across physical retail, e-commerce, and omni-channel platforms. Partner with central leadership to adapt group strategies to local market dynamics and customer expectations.3. Regional & Functional Leadership Lead and support Regional Managers to ensure operational excellence, strong customer experience, and regional profitability. Provide strategic oversight to the Head of Merchandising – KSA to ensure alignment on assortment, pricing, and vendor strategy. Act as a bridge between central commercial teams and regional execution to deliver unified strategies with local relevance.4. Operational Excellence & Compliance Establish governance frameworks for store operations, inventory management, customer experience, and supply chain integration. Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, Saudization requirements, licensing, and regulatory standards. Maintain consistent brand standards and operational controls across all regions.5. Market & Competitive Strategy Conduct continuous market and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends. Translate insights into actionable business strategies, marketing initiatives, and growth plans. Collaborate closely with merchandising, supply chain, and marketing teams to strengthen competitive positioning.6. Leadership, People Development & Stakeholder Engagement Lead, coach, and develop Regional Managers and senior leadership teams to build a high-performance organization. Drive succession planning, leadership development, and achievement of Saudization targets. Act as the senior country representative, engaging with government entities, landlords, suppliers, and strategic partners.7. Performance Tracking & Analytics Define and track country-level KPIs covering sales, profitability, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Promote data-driven decision-making through dashboards and analytics to ensure accountability and transparency. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Achievement of KSA revenue and profitability targets Market share growth and successful regional expansion Customer satisfaction and NPS improvement Compliance with Saudization and regulatory requirements Development and retention of a strong leadership team Experience & Qualifications Experience15–20 years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale retail environments Proven track record of managing multi-region operations with full P&L responsibility Strong exposure to the Saudi market and regional retail dynamics Demonstrated success in driving business growth, market entry, and profitability Education MBA or advanced degree in Business or a related field (preferred) Skills & Competencies Strategic leadership with strong execution capabilities Expertise in complex P&L management Strong government, regulatory, and landlord engagement experience in KSAExcellent communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency preferred Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and people leadership skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth retail environment
