Desert Technologies is seeking to hire a Procurement & Tendering Manager. Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Nationality: Saudi Nationals only
Role Overview:
The Procurement & Tendering Manager will lead and manage all procurement and tendering activities, from strategic planning and tender issuance to evaluation, negotiation, and contract award. The role plays a critical part in ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and successful delivery of company projects.
Key Requirements:
• 15+ years of experience in procurement and tendering. • Educational background in Electrical Engineering. • Strong expertise in tender preparation, bid evaluation, supplier negotiation, and contract management. • Solid experience in large-scale projects, EPC environments, or industrial sectors. • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement procurement and tendering strategies aligned with Desert Technologies’ business objectives. • Oversee the full tendering cycle, including RFQs, RFPs, evaluations, and awards. • Manage strategic supplier relationships and lead commercial negotiations. • Ensure compliance with internal policies, budgets, and contractual terms. • Drive cost optimization while maintaining quality and technical compliance.
