We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Detection & Response (NDR) Engineer to manage, operate, and optimize the bank’s Extra Hop Reveal(x) platform. The role requires deep expertise in network security, traffic analysis, and rapid incident response to ensure continuous visibility across enterprise and east-west network traffic in a regulated banking environment. This is an on-site, senior technical role supporting real-time threat detection, investigation, and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities:Operate, administer, and maintain the Extra Hop Reveal(x) NDR platform. Monitor network traffic to detect anomalies, threats, and suspicious activities. Perform in-depth packet analysis (PCAP) to investigate security incidents. Tune and optimize detections, dashboards, alerts, and threat rules. Integrate NDR with SIEM, SOAR, and XDR platforms for end-to-end security visibility. Support incident response activities and provide expert-level network forensics. Produce weekly operational, performance, and threat analysis reports. Support compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements in a banking environment. Collaborate with SOC, IR, and infrastructure teams to enhance detection and response capabilities. Required Experience & Qualifications:3+ years of hands-on experience with Network Detection & Response (NDR) platforms (Extra Hop Reveal(x) experience is strongly preferred). Strong background in network security, east-west traffic monitoring, and packet-level analysis. Solid understanding of enterprise and data-center network architectures. Experience working in financial services or banking environments is a strong plus. Ability to work independently in an on-site, production-critical environment.
