Job Purpose:The Electrical Infrastructure Senior Engineer is responsible for reviewing, coordinating, and overseeing the design and implementation of medium and low voltage electrical distribution networks for infrastructure projects. The role ensures efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective electrical designs while maintaining full compliance with SEC requirements. The position involves close coordination with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) to ensure timely approvals, power availability, and successful energization of projects.
Key Responsibilities:Review medium and low voltage electrical distribution network designs to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements. Ensure efficient and optimized electrical designs that achieve high quality and cost effectiveness. Coordinate with SEC to obtain design approvals and address technical comments. Coordinate with SEC for contractor and materials approvals related to electrical works. Review and coordinate power supply agreements with SEC. Review all documents related to power supply requests for end users and ensure timely power energization. Review and validate electrical load calculations for NHC destinations and projects. Coordinate with SEC to arrange temporary or partial power supply solutions for NHC projects when required. Maintain effective coordination with stakeholders, consultants, and project teams to support smooth project execution.
Qualification and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum of 6 years of experience Strong experience in medium and low voltage distribution networks Proven experience in coordinating with utility authorities, preferably SEC
