The Role:
This is a strategic sales and client success role in a fast-paced start-up environment. You will drive revenue growth, manage key client relationships, and expand our advisory and Reg Tech solutions in the Saudi CMI market. You will own the full sales cycle, foster partnerships, ensure client satisfaction, and provide market feedback to shape products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets for advisory services and Reg Tech products. Identify and nurture leads within the target Saudi CMI market. Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing contracts, including product demonstrations and regular field visits to build client relationships. Client Success & Retention: Act as the primary post-sale contact for key accounts, ensuring smooth onboarding. Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs) to ensure clients achieve maximum value, track their success metrics, and solidify partnerships. Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts. Own the client renewal process to ensure high retention rates and serve as the "voice of the client," gathering feedback for internal teams. Partnership & Channel Development: Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with complementary firms (e.g., consultancies, tech providers) to expand market reach. Develop and manage selling channels, including direct sales and partner networks. Create co-marketing and lead-generation initiatives. Marketing, Communications & Events: Develop and implement a marketing strategy to build brand awareness and generate inbound leads. Plan and manage presence at key industry conventions and events. Organize and host client webinars and workshops. Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including presentations and case studies. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Own and manage the CRM system to track all sales activities, pipeline, and client health scores. Use CRM data to generate insights, forecast sales, identify churn risks, and refine strategy. Ensure team adherence to CRM best practices. Strategy & Reporting: Report to founders on sales performance, client retention metrics, and growth metrics. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities. Provide client feedback to help shape future service and product offerings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA a plus).4-8 years in B2B sales, business development, and client success within consulting, Saa S, or Reg Tech/Fin Tech. Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and managing complex sales cycles. Deep understanding of and network within the Saudi Arabian Capital Market Institutions (CMI) sector. Expertise in hunting new business, farming existing accounts, and managing renewals. High proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) for forecasting and analytics. Experience developing marketing strategies and managing partnerships or channels. Entrepreneurial, strategic thinker comfortable reporting directly to founders. Exceptional communicator and negotiator with fluency in English and Arabic. Willingness to travel regularly within Saudi Arabia for client visits.
