Job Purpose To supervise and manage the market research activities that provide actionable insights on industry trends, customer behavior, competitive positioning, and product performance. The Market Research Supervisor ensures the timely collection, analysis, and reporting of data to support strategic decision-making across product development, sales, and business planning functions.
Job Responsibilities 1- Research Planning & Execution: - Develop annual and quarterly research plans aligned with company goals. - Design and oversee qualitative and quantitative research projects (surveys, focus groups, field visits, interviews, etc.). - Identify internal and external data sources for relevant market insights.2- Team Supervision & Coordination: - Manage and monitor a team of researchers or analysts. - Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure research activities are completed on time and within budget.3- Data Analysis & Reporting: - Analyze market data to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor performance. - Generate detailed reports and executive summaries with actionable recommendations. - Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.4-Competitive & Industry Intelligence: - Monitor competitor pricing, product launches, marketing campaigns, and distribution strategies. - Stay up to date with industry developments, regulations, and economic factors.5- Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Support product development, pricing and Product Development teams with timely insights. - Work closely with product managers, sales teams, and strategic planning functions.6- Database & Research Tools Management: - Maintain databases of market data and competitor intelligence. - Recommend and manage tools/software to improve data collection and analysis efficiency. Education Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, Management or relevant field Experience+5 years of experience as a research supervisor. Language Fluency in Arabic and English. Skills Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Proficiency in market research methodologies and tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. Project management and time-management skills. Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power Point Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
