Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commercial Manager, based in Jeddah. The Commercial Manager will oversee and manage commercial activities, including business planning, contract management, and ensuring the implementation of strategic objectives. The role involves analyzing market trends, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and leading teams to achieve business goals. Additional responsibilities include developing and negotiating contracts, monitoring budgetary performance, and driving the efficiency of commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities Strategic & Operational Responsibilities Develop and implement commercial strategies that maximize revenue, market share, and profitability. Lead and manage sales, procurement, contracting, and commercial operations teams to ensure high performance. Oversee pricing structures, cost management, and budgeting processes to ensure optimal financial outcomes. Conduct financial analysis and prepare commercial reports for senior leadership decision-making. Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify emerging opportunities. Core Commercial Deal Responsibilities (Top Priority) Commercial Deals Management: Lead all aspects of deal structuring including price calculations, inventory management, order processing, feasibility assessments, profitability analysis, and product/transaction registration with relevant Saudi regulatory bodies (SFDA, SABER, NUPCO, etc.). Customer Deals Management: Manage all customer‑related commercial arrangements including initial discount ranges, year‑end discounts, promotions, compensations, and incentive frameworks. Contracting & Compliance Execute strong, profitable commercial deals that drive company growth. Advanced negotiation skills in complex business environments. Deep understanding of international commercial contracts and their legal and financial terms. Expertise in deal structuring and commercial risk assessment. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Senior Management to optimize business performance and ensure integrated commercial execution. Relationship Management & Partnerships Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships with global and local companies. Develop strategic partnerships with key clients and suppliers across domestic and international markets. Cultivate long-term business relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Establish effective communication channels with relevant governmental and regulatory bodies. Leadership & Management Lead and direct the medical marketing and advertising team to achieve strategic objectives. Develop innovative marketing strategies for medical products and services. Manage marketing budgets and optimize return on investment. Build team capabilities through continuous coaching and development.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. Proven experience in commercial management, sales, business development, or similar leadership roles. Demonstrated expertise in managing complex commercial deals, financial analysis, and strategic planning. Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage key stakeholders. Excellent problem‑solving abilities with a results‑oriented mindset. Experience working with multinational companies and international suppliers is highly preferred and essential.
