Job Details

Job Purpose:To lead, develop, and execute the Media, Digital Communications, and Corporate Communications strategy of the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia. The role aims to strengthen the Club’s brand image, ensure comprehensive media coverage of all events and activities, and maximize engagement across traditional and digital platforms through effective leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:Strategic Responsibilities:Develop and execute the Club’s annual media and communications strategy, covering the racing seasons and major cups and events. Define and oversee content, messaging, and visual identity strategies in alignment with the Club’s corporate brand. Establish and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, broadcasters, and influencers to ensure wide and positive media exposure. Lead major media and marketing campaigns in collaboration with marketing, events, and other relevant departments. Monitor, measure, and analyze media performance and audience engagement, providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
Operational Responsibilities:Oversee the creation, publishing, and quality of content across digital platforms, including social media and the official website. Review, approve, and manage press releases, media statements, and all external communications. Coordinate media coverage for races, events, and official Club activities. Supervise the production of visual content, interviews, documentaries, and live event coverage. Track media reports, sentiment, reach, and engagement, preparing regular performance reports.
Leadership and Team Management:Lead and manage the media team (content, digital, production, and media relations). Assign responsibilities, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of media outputs. Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and performance management. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure message consistency and effective execution of joint initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:Educational Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in media, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
Required Experience:9–12 years of progressive experience in media, digital communications, or corporate communications. Proven experience in a leadership or director-level role. Experience within sports, events, or entertainment organizations.
