A leading contracting company is seeking a highly experienced Procurement Manager to lead and develop the procurement and contracts function, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and services with optimal quality and cost, in alignment with major construction projects and approved quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans in line with company objectives and project requirements. Manage the procurement of all materials, services, and subcontractors. Prepare, review, and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors. Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best commercial and technical terms. Build and maintain strategic relationships with local and international suppliers. Supervise supplier evaluation, qualification, and performance monitoring. Coordinate closely with project teams, technical office, finance, and warehouse departments. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and governance standards. Monitor procurement KPIs to achieve cost reduction and improve operational efficiency. Prepare periodic reports to senior management on procurement and contract activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering. Minimum 15 years of experience in procurement and contract management within contracting companies. At least 8 years of experience in Saudi Arabia with well-recognized contracting firms. Strong experience in procurement planning, control, and supply chain management. In-depth knowledge of the Saudi supplier market and contracting regulations. Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills. Strong ability in preparing and analyzing technical and commercial contracts. Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement management software. High leadership and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure. Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
