Job Summary The Security Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and operating cloud-based network and security solutions, primarily within Microsoft Azure. The role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud infrastructure while maintaining compliance with Saudi cybersecurity regulations (NCA). This position also contributes to planning, optimization, and operational excellence across cloud networking and security environments. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, operate, and secure cloud networking and security architectures within Microsoft Azure. Lead the planning, design, implementation, and ongoing operation of cloud-based data communication networks. Manage and monitor cloud networks using Azure monitoring and security tools. Implement, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, remote access solutions, and other security controls. Ensure secure integration and operation of Azure Iaa S, Paa S, and Saa S services. Analyze departmental requirements, establish priorities, and recommend network and security solutions to support business needs. Ensure compliance with Saudi National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) controls and regulatory requirements. Identify security risks, conduct root cause analysis, and drive remediation actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, improve, and enhance cloud network and security management. Support incident response, problem resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in evaluating, mentoring, and developing team members to ensure efficient and secure operations. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. ITIL Foundation certification. Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role. Extensive hands-on experience with Azure cloud networking and security. Strong experience in network monitoring and management using Azure tools. Solid experience with firewalls, VPNs, remote connectivity, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. CCNP certification (required). Microsoft Azure AZ-500 certification or equivalent (required). Strong knowledge of Saudi cybersecurity regulations (NCA). Preferred Qualifications CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certification. Experience leading or contributing to enterprise-scale cloud security initiatives. Exposure to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) practices within cloud environments. Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of cloud security architecture and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives effectively. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Leadership mindset with the ability to drive security and operational excellence.
