Role Description The Executive Sous Chef is an on-site, full-time position located in Mecca. The role involves assisting the Executive Chef in leading the kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation, complying with health and safety guidelines, and maintaining high-quality culinary standards. The Executive Sous Chef will help design menus, manage inventory, train and supervise kitchen staff, and ensure smooth coordination between various kitchen sections to deliver excellent dining experiences to guests.
Qualifications Proven expertise in culinary arts, including the ability to develop innovative and high-quality menus Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in inventory management and food costing Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with experience maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with different departments Previous experience working in high-end hotels or luxury dining establishments preferred Culinary degree or certification from a reputable institution is an advantage Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
