Job Summary The Catering Manager is responsible for driving catering sales by developing new business, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of all catering events and services. The role includes strategic planning, sales development, operational oversight, and coordination with internal departments to guarantee a seamless and high-quality catering experience. Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Management Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed catering sales targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and participation in industry events. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and event planners. Prepare and present customized catering proposals, quotations, and contracts. Conduct site visits, menu tastings, and pre-event meetings with clients. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies. Ensure timely follow-up on all inquiries, leads, and proposals. Maintain accurate sales pipelines, CRM entries, and weekly/monthly sales reports. Represent the company at trade shows, expos, and networking events. Operations & Event Execution Oversee the full operational execution of catering events from planning to completion. Coordinate with kitchen, production, logistics, and service teams to ensure smooth event delivery. Create detailed event orders (BEOs) and ensure all departments are aligned with client requirements. Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards during events. Ensure proper staffing levels for each event, including servers, runners, and support staff. Manage inventory of catering equipment, serving items, and disposables. Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement. Handle on-site issues, last-minute changes, and client requests professionally. Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and food-handling standards during all events. Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate billing, cost tracking, and profitability analysis. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in catering, events, or hospitality sales. Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems. Must be an Arabic speaker. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and event days.
