We are looking for a talented User Experience Designer to help shape JACO’s live social entertainment platform, delivering engaging, intuitive, and creator-driven experiences for users across MENA. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing global-scale consumer social or content-driven products, understands user behaviors in social and entertainment contexts, and can translate complex interactions into simple, elegant experiences. This role partners closely with product, engineering, data, and growth teams to enhance product experience, user engagement, and regional impact, contributing to JACO’s goal of becoming the leading live social entertainment platform in MENA. Key Responsibilities1. User Research & Insights Conduct user research, usability testing, and market benchmarking to uncover insights and validate design decisions. Analyze user behavior and engagement metrics to inform product improvements and optimize live social interactions. Identify user needs across MENA and other target markets to inform localized and global product experiences.2. UX / Product Design Lead end-to-end design: user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI. Design intuitive experiences for live social features, creator-led content, community interactions, and monetization flows. Develop UX frameworks, design systems, and guidelines to ensure consistency, scalability, and superior product experience.3. Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with product managers, engineers, and data teams to define requirements and prioritize features. Communicate design rationale clearly, influence decisions, and advocate for both creators and users. Collaborate on iterative design improvements based on user feedback, data, and business goals.4. Global Product Thinking Bring experience from global-scale social, live streaming, or content-driven platforms. Apply best practices from mature social and live entertainment products to enhance engagement, retention, and monetization. Contribute to product localization strategies and culturally relevant design solutions for the MENA region.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree or above in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication, or related fields.5+ years of UX design experience, with at least 3 years in global consumer, live social, or social entertainment products. Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, mobile-first thinking, and polished UX flows. Solid understanding of live social mechanics, creator-driven engagement, community interaction, and monetization flows. Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent design tools. Experience working in cross-cultural, cross-region teams is a strong plus. Fluent English; Arabic a plus but not required.
