Purpose of Job

The job holder is responsible is responsible for leading the development of the Authority's strategic planning process. This role focuses on aligning the ZATCA's strategic priorities with its mission and vision, conducting comprehensive analyses, and collaborating with stakeholders to formulate and implement effective strategies.

Job Responsibilites


  • Contribute to the development of Strategy & Studies business plan ensuring alignment with ZATCA strategy.
  • Develop the operational plan for Strategic Planning in line with the Strategy & Studies business plan and Strategy and Trade Facilitation strategic plan.
  • Implement plans and provide input to enable the achievement of Strategic Planning goals that support ZATCA’s overall strategic plans.
  • Discuss Strategic Planning budgeting requirements with top management and provide input to the budgeting process.
  • Ensure effective utilization of Strategic Planning budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
  • Investigate and propose implementing initiatives that result in positive financial impact for Strategic Planning and mitigates financial and operational risks
  • Understand and articulate the Authority's mission and vision, ensuring strategic plans align with the organization's operating model.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather input and insights that inform strategic priorities.
  • Conduct internal and external analyses to evaluate current trends, opportunities, and challenges.


Job Details


  • Prepare a list of strategic programs and projects, identifying key performance indicators at the enterprise level and setting desired objectives.
  • Oversee the development of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop communication plans to transfer strategy, strategic initiatives, projects, and related KPIs to management levels.
  • Coordinate with the budget team to plan and prepare the budget for strategic projects each fiscal year.
  • Hold meetings with ZATCA stakeholders to provide support in developing work plans, annual operational plans, and related budgets.
  • Facilitate collaboration and alignment across departments to ensure cohesive strategy implementation.
  • Collect and analyze organizational challenges to design and update the organizational structure, roles, and duties of the Authority.


Communication and Contacs

Eductaion


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent is required
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred
  • PMP Certificate, or equivalent is preferred


Experience

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
