Position Title:
Head of Operational Excellence

JOB PURPOSE / ROLE:
- Responsible for creating Operation Excellence framework to ensure that SIMAH’s main processes are running smoothly and efficiently. Introduce continuous improvement excellence programs and quality programs, by evaluating existing processes, procedures, and systems.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Develop Operational Excellence policies and procedures covering all activities so that all relevant requirements are fulfilled while delivering high impact and achieving results effectively and efficiently
Budget
- Direct the Recommends of the inputs for the unit budget under the supervision of Chief of Strategy & Corporate Development Officer
- Directs and oversees yearly budgeting of Operational Excellence unit in coordination with Chief of Strategy & Corporate Development Officer
Day- to-day operations
- Ensure the development of effective Operation Excellence framework
- Encourage teams and contribute to the identification of improvement opportunities for systems, processes, and practices considering improvement of business process and productivity
- Directs the quality assurance framework to Monitor compliance with developed policies and procedures
- Directs the Challenging and creating a culture of best practice and continuous improvement culture.
- Manage and monitor all process performance to corporate/industry best practices.
- Direct the Review processes end-to-end, through the eye of the business, customers, and other key stakeholders, and supporting the introduction of innovation/technology into the process, where appropriate and commercially viable, to deliver impactful results.
- Directs and manage Work cross-functionally with lots of stakeholders to drive critical business decisions
Continuous Improvement
- Directs in overseeing the overall department activities within SIMAH and continuing the progress within the department.
- Direct the Assess periodically the Subordinates relation processes and ensure the complete processes.
People Management
Ensures subordinates have clear objectives, regular performance feedback sessions, formal annual appraisals, and individual development plans, with particular emphasis on the development of talented Saudi national staff.
Reporting
Directs in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of SIMAH to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards.
Safety, Quality & Environment
Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Performs other related duties or assignments as directed
Information Security/Cyber Security / BCM/Privacy
- Implementation of and compliance with the cybersecurity/privacy/ Business Continuity requirements as per SIMAH’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure that standards, processes and procedures of your department reflect Security/privacy/ Business Continuity requirements (if applicable).
- Ensure that individuals within your department accept and comply with the Cyber Security/Privacy/ Business Continuity policy, supporting standards and procedures when they are issued and updated.
- Coordinate with Risk Department to identify and report cyber security and privacy risks and vulnerabilities, availability and continuity risks in IT systems
- Immediately report cyber security and privacy incidents to Risk Department (Information Security unit).
- Coordinate with Risk Department to effectively and efficiency implement agreed on security, privacy and availability controls
- Coordinate with Risk Department to review cyber security, privacy and Continuity controls of third-party service providers for your department
- Ensure continuity of critical activities and systems that is related to your department.
- Ensure that all subordinate employees are communicated and aware about the Information and Cyber Security Policies/Privacy Policy/ Business Continuity policy distributed based on “Need to Know and/or Need to do basis”.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in management information system (MIS), Business Administration or equivalent;. Master degree- Preferrable.
- Total Quality Management (TQM)/Lean Six Sigma Certification-Preferrable
- Experience in leading organizations, preferably in financial sector & technology exposure.
- Re-engineering experience.
Minimum Experience:
8-12 years of relevant experience
Language:
English: Advanced
Soft skills & Technical Knowledge areas:
- Strong skill of using LEAN or Six Sigma methodology an advantage
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite Excel, PowerPoint, MS project.
- Familiar with process improvement, data analysis, and performance metrics.
- Problem solving & change management.
- Strong Analytical skills
