job Summary:
The Exam Invigilator is responsible for overseeing the administration of examinations to ensure a fair and orderly testing environment. This role includes monitoring students, enforcing exam regulations, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision of Examinations
Monitor students during exams to prevent cheating and ensure adherence to rules.
Provide assistance to students as needed while maintaining exam integrity.
Preparation and Setup
Prepare examination rooms prior to the start of tests, ensuring all materials are in place.
Distribute and collect exam papers and other materials before and after the exam.
Enforcement of Regulations
Ensure that all examination protocols and guidelines are followed.
Address any irregularities or violations of exam policies immediately.
Communication
Clearly explain exam instructions to students before the test begins.
Serve as a point of contact for students’ inquiries during the exam.
Reporting
Report any incidents or issues to the examination coordinator or relevant authority.
Complete necessary documentation related to the examination process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
Previous experience in a supervisory or educational role preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce regulations.
