Job Purpose:
The Manager - Operational Integration is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s landside operations; including curbside management, carpark operations, ground transportation (taxi/uber, shuttle services, public transportation, private cars, rental car companies etc) PRM facilities and etc. This role ensures a smooth transition from the airport’s main entrance to the secure zones, as well as an efficient traffic flow to/from the airport. The Manager-Operational Integration leads a team of airport operations professionals, manages vendor relationships, and works closely with other departments to ensure alignment with the organization’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the airport curbside operations; carpark, traffic flow and ground transportation.
- Ensure the smoothness of the traffic, as well as the easy access of the passengers from the curbside to the terminals/other facilities through proactive monitoring and appropriate maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategies for a better curbside operations both for the passengers and the airport users.
- Manage carpark operations, including new technology implementation and tolls integration with the organization’s financial systems.
- Track and report project milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of airport operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching and support.
- Assign tasks, set priorities and objectives and monitor team performance to ensure high levels of service and operational efficiency.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement proper security measures to be 100% in compliance with the airport’s security plan.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and local policies related to traffic rules and regulations.
- Manage backup and recovery functions to ensure the continuity of the curbside operations.
Stakeholder Management and Financial Affairs:
- Manage relationships with the local authorities and service providers, as well with the airport’s airside operations teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage the Curbside Operations budget, tracking expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Lead infrastructure-related projects, such as expansions, capacity increases, and relocation of the sources when needed.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation and/or Transportation.
- Local/International certifications (e.g., AIP, CAM) are preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in airport operations with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience with airport curbside management is a reason of preference.
