JOB SUMMARY
As an Aerospace & Defense Technical Project Manager, you will manage large/complex projects that need coordination with the customers, governmental organizations and between different NAMI teams, with an ultimate target to build and deliver the best customer experience to international and local companies who desire to participate in Aerospace & Defense projects using Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) technologies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (What You Will Do)
- Technical project management throughout life of project, including regular reporting to leadership and stakeholders
- Ensure on time execution of the project, within scope and budget
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to track progress
- Ensure seamless interaction between customers and NAMI teams
- Definition of Statement of Work for joint projects with Aerospace & Defense customers
- Support the account managers, or business development manager to work with key accounts and explore new opportunities
- Work with governmental entities on technical justification and submission of the project proposals
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Coordinate internal & external resources and third-party vendors
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Create and maintain the comprehensive project and program documentation
- Contribution to business processes development for profitability and growth
JOB REQUIREMENTS (What You Will Need)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field of project management
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Science; and/or equivalent through experience
- Experience in aviation, space, land defense, marine, weapon manufacturing, or another defense-related industrial environment
- PMP or other project management certification is a significant plus
- Experience with Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) is a plus
- Professional attitude with excellent communication skills
- MS Office package professional user
- Smartsheet or MS Project experience is a plus
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
